This was my first attempt of using Copyshop. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good and I had to cancel two orders. Some of this was my fault as it wasn't clear exactly what I was ordering, and... This was my first attempt of using Copyshop. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good and I had to cancel two orders. Some of this was my fault as it wasn't clear exactly what I was ordering, and secondly, it is the way you present the layout ie. 2 front sheets and 10 sheets even though the document was 12 pages and I asked for back to back too. It would be good if you had a visual image of what the final document would look like. In the end I had to cancel both runs.

Your response team were very good in coming back to me and I was able to cancel the orders when it was clear I was not going to get what I wanted.

Improvements or suggestions

Visibility of the final product to ensure you are ordering what you want - I wanted between 60 to 100 brochure style printing so an option to see the final layout would have ensured the order.... Also, if you can see from the order your customer is a first time user, having a chat line may have helped me navigate around better.

I have ordered wire-o booklets 3 time’s from copysbop. The second time there was a problem with the printing so I was offered a 10% discount with the next print. Having just received the third... Having just received the third order there is once again a problem with the order. The front cover is paper rather than card, there are no plastic pockets as specified in previous orders and there are ink smudges. All of this has been communicated to the company but I haven’t had any response.
Having today received an email offering everyone a 35% discount I’m not feeling a valued customer at all. It’s a shame as I was so hopeful after my first order which was handled so well.

Strengths

When a quick turn around is requested it has mostly been accommodated.

Ordered a small run of 10 hardback books. Pleasantly surprised at the price. Communication was good throughout, from placing the order right up to receiving the shipment. The books were in perfect... The books were in perfect condition and exactly how I wanted them. Could not recommend more highly.

Strengths

Easy to use ordering and uploading system, a free form text box to make sure your instructions are interpreted correctly, and most of all the finished product is high quality and priced well!

I honestly don't know. Everything they offered, they did perfectly. A cool feature in the website might be a "live preview" window where it shows you what your files look like on certain papers etc,... I honestly don't know. I used "hardback book binding " and copyshop UK were either the first or second sponsored result.

Not so good as previous dealings. Somehow or other, I accidentally ordered a black-and-white copy instead of colour. I certainly didn't opt for this, so it must somehow have defaulted to monochrome.... Not so good as previous dealings. For a novice author, I did not notice info on your website about getting the title on the spine so Vol 1 has a blank spine. After speaking to copyshop, I was able to get a title on the spine of... Also, with hindsight, I should have ordered a single hard copy first - much easier to proofread. Both volumes have my errors.

Please provide a means for specifying the order of documents when printing multiple documents as this can reduce the time... It would be nice to see a preview of the print job before it is printed. After the file is uploaded there is no place to preview the job.
