A lot of excercises to actually get used to the subjects you are learning about. Also everything you need for scientific English writing is implemented in this course, I learned a lot of new things during this course. Lastly, there is a lot of material that you can look back into after the course as well.

Everything; David Barick has done an excellent job providing us with every detail of scientific writing there is. I’m very happy with all the new knowledge that I obtained. I particularly like the overall structure of this course which is set up according to academic writing sections of an article.

The contents of the course were very useful to me as a PhD student. I feel much more confident about my scientific writing ambilities then I did before starting the course.

The level of training content was tailored to the level and need of the participants. Also, I like how Seda tried to make this course as interactive and enjoyable as possible.

The course had a nice combination of listening and looking at each others work. I liked the group work and was happy to get so much feedback in my writing pieces. Also, the strategic way of thinking about writing helped me to write (future) papers!

Prima training, maar het tempo lag wat laag en bepaalde (verdiepende) onderwerpen kwamen niet terug.
