Overall, we are very happy with the Quooker. It is a great time saver when cooking. Being able to start cooking rice, pasta and blanching veg and other foods immediately is a real godsend. We also have the filtered water option, which is excellent. There are, however, a few issues that I think could be improved. The aerated boiling water tap splutters quite forcefully, sending hot droplets out and regularly burning my hands. It also makes filling teapots and cups more difficult because of the pressure. The boiling water also remains in the pipe after use, so you have to let the tap run for a few seconds before washing your hands, otherwise you can scald yourself. The filtered water has the opposite benefit of being great quality, but again the pressure is too high and there is no way to control it. For example, filling ice cube trays directly is almost impossible, so I have to fill a jug first and then use that to fill the trays. Overall, I love the convenience and time saving benefits, but I think having some control over the water pressure and improving the spluttering of the boiling water tap would make the Quooker considerably better and safer to use.
