I didn't fully enjoy the learning experience because I thought a lot of grammar explanation was missing, but like truly a lot. Being bombarded with words and little grammar does not really work for me as a way to learn a new language.

Methinks the course was useful and enjoyable. It teaches reading, comprehension, listening writing , writing and much more. Annoying thing, however, was sometimes the dialogues that were spoken by a man in some sections. He spoke very fast and it was impossible to catch words from hearing. In addition, the credited errors are annoying. Sometimes when I wrote a sentence with a lowercase letter and that was the only mistake, the whole sentence was not credited. Little inflection regarding the answer . you had to learn by heart what translation the sentence expects , and at least one word put together differently in English spoiled the whole answer, where the meaning was the same. However, I recommend this course because it helped me a lot. It could only be useful to improve it slightly, as I wrote above. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

My experience was positive. I had an online course for Dutch beginners and I think that it gave me the necessary tools to have an everyday conversation. The material was throughout and well-presented.

Having taken levels A1, A2 and B1.1 in Dutch, I have to say I really enjoyed the experience. It is easy to use, practical, uses repetition to reinforce new vocabulary and relates to the life of a typical expat. The only element that could be improved is perhaps more opportunity for conversation (perhaps using AI), as the conversation classes offered as an extra are very expensive. However, overall I'm very happy with this course and look forward to practising Dutch when I move to the Netherlands in January!
