In this specific scenario, as also communicated with you by our Senior Logistics Coordinator Mr. Roy, we must conclude that after reviewing all the photos of your car, we noticed your car was already damaged prior to the shipment and consequently our company cannot be kept responsible for the repair.
Should you wish to discuss the matter again please do not hesitate to contact us, either by phone or email. Or, if you wish we would be glad to make an appointment with you in person to have a cup of coffee and explain the process to you.

You booked a shipment with us to Montreal port. Then later on, you changed your mind, and you contacted the carrier yourself and you changed the destination of your shipment to Calgary.
As we explained to you, the insurance we offered you provides coverage for the leg from Rotterdam to Montreal only - this is the part that SCL Rotterdam organized as per your instruction. Unfortunately, it is impossible for our insurance agent to insure the additional leg from Montreal to Calgary, because SCL Rotterdam is not organizing this transport so neither can we guarantee its quality. We are sorry for any inconvenience, and we again would like to ask for your understanding.
