They need a lot more jobs to cover all of the employees. Sometime a job will get posted for 2 employees and 50 employee sign up for the same job. Well 48 end up not working and that's the struggle with Upshift.

You arrive at the job and the supervisor and employees of the company treat you like “ oh hear comes the Upshifters again “. And they are very rude to you. And the job you signed up for is it the one they give you . Furthermore not many jobs close to me in Middletown open. I have 5 star rating and hard worker but exhausted with the companies that hire upshift and treat us like dirt and job descriptions total different. , I have taking a break from platform to see if things may change .

Employers need to update dress requirements and...I am a retired chef and I try to work a shift every other week. While most of the experience is positive, I do have a couple concerns. 1. Employers need to update dress requirements and reporting procedures. Some are outdated or inaccurate. 2. I don't think I should lose pay for a break that I was never given. 3. Upshift needs to verify work experience of its employees. I have worked with numerous Upshifters who couldn't possibly have had the experience required in the posting.

Upshift is a great way to make money, have fun, and meet new people you may not have met otherwise! The flexibility is appealing. It's a good feeling to have control over your schedule. Upshift is a great way to make money, have fun, and meet new people you may not have met otherwise! The flexibility is appealing. It's a good feeling to have control over your schedule. However, I hope that Upshift continues to grow and add new businesses and different types of work opportunities to the app. It can be really slow at certain times of the year, thus difficult to book gigs.
