The Quatermain Safari Camp was a wonderful experience for my husband and I. We have done a lot of wilderness travel in our lifetime, but never in South Africa and never in big game country. The guiding and other services provided by Quatermain were both memorable and unique in character. They successfully replicated the old-style safari experience while still ensuring that game viewing and natural history remained front and centre during our stay. Highly recommended

Lions sands river lodge is stunning. Rooms are magnificent. Common areas are out of a magazine. The food is excellent. The game rides were more than you could wish for. The staff are wonderful. Special mention to Mendrew and Ranios, our guide and tracker who were beyond incredible, talented, knowledgeable and fun to be with. Also our server Lucky was delightful. I can’t recommend this place more. Not one single thing they could improve on.
