Absolutely unacceptable behavior — shocking treatment by the staff

Hoe omschrijft u uw ervaring met de Boots webshop?

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered at boots apotheek beethoven pharmacy, and I sincerely hope management takes immediate action. I dealt with a woman at the counter — brunette with blonde highlights (since she didn't wear a name tag, and I don’t have her name).

I showed her my prescription on the phone, and she requested I email it. I did — and she claimed she didn’t receive it. Fine. That wasn’t even the real issue. What truly disturbed me was how she repeatedly allowed others to skip ahead of me in line while I was still waiting and trying to resolve my issue. She didn’t acknowledge me, didn’t follow up, and acted as if I wasn’t even there.
After the line finally cleared, I approached again and told her I had sent the email. Again — “I didn’t receive anything.” No effort to help, no empathy, just dismissal. Before I could say anything else, she immediately turned to serve another client. I was still standing there — ignored.

When I told her I needed another item — a non-prescription diabetes-related product — she got defensive and snapped at me saying things like “I don’t want to fight” and “I need to finish my job and i gave you enough time.” Excuse me? I was calm and simply trying to purchase medication — her job is to help, not escalate or push away customers.

It honestly felt like discrimination, the way she treated me — with impatience, disrespect, and zero professionalism — makes me wonder if that had something to do with it. No one deserves to be treated this way, least of all in a healthcare setting where people come in for help and support.

She should not be working in a pharmacy — not with that attitude, not with that level of disrespect, and certainly not if she treats people differently based on who they are. I will be escalating this to the appropriate authorities. This kind of behavior is dangerous, and someone like her has no place in a customer-facing role.
