What does Feedback Company do?

Feedbackcompany.com is a service of Feedback Company that collects online reviews.

If you are a consumer at a company that uses the service of Feedback Company, then you are Concerned. The company where you have purchased a product may ask you to write a review about their services. If you comply with this request, you will have to leave some personal details on the website of Feedback Company. The provision of these personal data is therefore a necessary condition for writing a review. Your consent is therefore the legal basis for the processing of your personal data.

 

 

What is the purpose of Feedback Company?

The purpose of Feedback Company is to allow companies to collect reviews. With this valuable input, companies can improve internal processes and adapt better to the expectations of customers. The ultimate goal is to increase customer satisfaction over time. Feedback Company believes in transparency. In our view, transparency is crucial in the modern world. Crucial for companies, consumers and the interaction between the two. Transparency ensures reliability and directly influences the decision to make a purchase. In order to assess whether a company is reliable, consumers attach great importance to the opinion of others. Online reviews are therefore the perfect way to show reliability.

Since consumer and company attach great importance to reviews, Feedback Company will retain your personal data as long as the company you write your review about is connected to Feedback Company. This is necessary because otherwise your review will be lost. If this necessity expires, we will delete your personal data as soon as possible and at the latest within two months.

 

What personal data can be recorded of you as a Data Subject?

Your name(initials, first name, prefix and surname) making you personally identifiable for yourself and for the company where you made a purchase;
A (business) e-mail address at which you can be contacted;
The IP address from which you write the review;
Your purchase history regarding product(s) that you have purchased from the company.
We use external companies for the technical execution of Feedback Company. These companies are processors for the personal data of which we are the controller and must therefore only act in accordance with our instructions. The processors have taken reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent action being taken in violation of the GDPR.

What about the security of your (privacy) data?

All data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS / SSL);
No more personal data is recorded than is necessary for the execution of the purpose;
The Processors do everything possible to prevent improper access to the system, the application or parts thereof. Agreements in this respect are laid down in the Processor Agreements between the various parties;
The data is stored in a Dutch datacenter at hosting provider True BV True BV is ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and NEN 7510 certified and has ISAE 3402 type I and type II. The Processor does, however, reserve the right to process the data in other countries within the European Union on the basis of the applicable Regulation (GDPR);
Feedback Company has strict internal policies for employees with regard to information security;
Feedback Company has (internal) protocols for incident management and data leaks.
What rights do you have as a Data Subject?

Due to the General Data Protection Regulation, the person involved has extensive possibilities to stand up for himself in the event that their personal data is processed. Below you can find an overview of the rights that you can exercise through the GDPR:

The right to data portability: the right to transfer personal data;
The right to forget: the right to be forgotten;
The right to inspect: the right to view the personal data that is processed with regards to you;
The right to rectification and supplement: the right to adjust the personal data that is processed with regards to you.You also have the right to withdraw your consent;
The right to limit processing: the right to have less data processed;
The right to object: the right to object to data processing;
The right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

We will respond to your request as soon as possible and no later than one month after receipt. Depending on the complexity of the request and the number of requests, this period may be extended by a further two months if necessary. If this is the case, we will inform you about this.

If we do not comply with your request, we will inform you without delay and no later than one month after receipt of the request. We will inform you why the request has remained without result and inform you about the possibility of submitting a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
