I ordered a pop-up bird hide tent 6 weeks before Christmas in order to receive it on time. Unfortunately it did not arrive. However, I received regular communication that the matter was being... I ordered a pop-up bird hide tent 6 weeks before Christmas in order to receive it on time. Unfortunately it did not arrive. However, I received regular communication that the matter was being investigated, and a full refund one week before Christmas. While it was disappointing not to receive the tent, I understand the stress that covid-related transport issues are placing on business owners. Also, I would just point out for any future business with South Africa -that anything shipped to SA needs to be fully traceable and insured - even outside covid times - as our postal service is unreliable. Anyone shipping to this country needs to be aware of this.

I appreciate the honest and professional service and will attempt to purchase the tent in the future when in Europe rather.

I ordered a pop up bird hide tent ( that we were very excited about) 3 weeks ago with the assurance that the seller ships to South Africa and the the package would definitely arrive in time for... I ordered a pop up bird hide tent ( that we were very excited about) 3 weeks ago with the assurance that the seller ships to South Africa and the the package would definitely arrive in time for Christmas.

So far, all of my dealings with Buteo have been worthy of 5 stars. However, my trouble at this stage (especially in. Covid times) is that the shipping needs to be traceable - which it currently is not (and has not been for two weeks). If the package becomes traceable I will gladly give Buteo the 5 stars it otherwise deserves.

Jurgen went out of his way to lower my shipping costs which I appreciate and his communication is timeous too. He has also promised me a refund if this should not arrive a I will need to plan B for my hubby’s gift. He is trying to liaise with his shipping partner now who does need to have traceable packages if that is what they are charging Buteo for

I would definitely recommend this company if this arrives - but would recommend that any shipping to South Africa is done via courier - not post office - and the customer billed accordingly.

We started an investigation with PostNL and also made a refund for the order.
Normally all our shipments all over the world are without problems.
But now we have a package with problems....
