When I was introduced to TOGAF by peers I was kind of impressed, a little scared even, by the size of the framework and the level of detail. The training, especially the trainer, did a very good job in guiding us through the framework while giving practical advice on how to modify and adopt the ADM in an organization. This training is a good preparation for anyone who would like to certify. I am convinced, partial, adoption of TOGAF can befit many companies in a great way.
