My partner and I have both had significant medical ‘considerations’ such that we each have come extremely close to departing this life. We are therefore embracing life’s experiences together and seeking to glean as much as we can in the perceived time remaining. The term ’Bucket List’ gains perspective when given timelines.
We approached our safari desires by seeking information from a few sources and to some extent stumbled upon Safari Group. There are times in our lives when through a mist of uncertainty a gentle guiding hand arrives. This was Grant - never have I experienced a person so embracing of our goals as well as empathic understanding. Grant rode with the ebb and flow of our changing ideas and maintained such a constant enthusiasm. The frustrations created by out uncertainties and inexperience were no doubt immense. Grant was unfazed and ‘rode the blows’, always incredibly friendly, dedicated and most of all - totally involved on a personal level. This Gentleman of Africa has listened, supported, sourced and snared our dreams. He has done so by becoming a friend. Make no mistakes, Grant is a hugely special person and an absolute credit to African Safari Group. We hope to be able to meet with him prior to aspects of our planned vacation - just to extend a most definitely well earned hand of thanks.
