My experience was less than satisfactory. I had booked for a wash/haircut/blowdry for my usual €14.65 price. However, I did not receive this service as the student and instructor changed it to just a wash, haircut and quick blowdry for €9.90 without communicating the change to me. A hair mask and the extra cost of that was also not communicated with me. I only found out when the student blowdried my hair with her hands and I asked why she wasn't using a brush to do so was it explained to me. The instructor cleared the miscommunication as she explained my hair was too long for the service I booked for, and also took off the cost of the mask. I don't mind paying the prices, as I came in expecting to pay the €15. What I did mind was the lack of communication and the student's attitude during the process.

About the student: I understand she is in training, but she needs to learn to pay attention to her client when doing their hair and also not have a bad attitude. When the student washed my hair, she only washed the outside of my hair and did not fully wash or rinse out the shampoo and mask. I had to wash my hair at home because my scalp was itchy later.
During the cutting process, she wasn't watching what she was doing and instead constantly looked to the reception side and at her other classmates. This was the same case for the blow-dry as well. The student did not comb out my hair before drying it, and again looked to the reception and elsewhere, which resulted in her blow-drying the air instead of my hair . The instructor came by at one point to show her how to twist my hair and blow-dry properly, and I saw the student roll her eyes and look away. When the student took over, again she was not paying attention and twisted only small amounts of my hair and pulled, which resulted in tearing out strands of my hair and hurting me.
At the end, she did not finish completely drying my hair, and left it uncombed and messy when she went to get the instructor. I could not see how the cut looked until the instructor brushed it out and found the cut was crooked which she fixed and had the student fix the rest as it was cut incorrectly. The student had a poor attitude towards the end, with big sighing, rolling of her eyes and hands on the hips. She did not respond well to her instructor's teaching and critique. I also gave her some "friendly advice" to pay attention instead of looking elsewhere (with her instructor translating), and she rolled her eyes at me. This is very bad form and unprofessional.

I had an unpleasant experience, which I never had before as a customer for five years. When the instructor asked if I was ok with the cut, I only said yes because I wanted to leave at that point. It wasn't until after I got home, took a shower and dried my hair did I find that the cut was not done the way I wanted.
