BLOM opleidingen

I took this course about a month ago in Deventer. The course was great and very useful for me! I work as a team lead/floor manager at PicNic FC/DC and all of the safety sules, attention points and practical knowledge I gained during the course are applicable in the daily basis during my shift. I now understand not only what is the right way to use certain machines, but also the difficulty, attention and effort standing behind it. I can better understand my employees and be more empathetic when they make a mistake or are working slower than the targeted speed. Also, learning to manage a RT was very difficult for me (not to mention that my SV signed me up for a Dutch course, when I only speak limited Dutch). Still, the instructor Eric was very kind and patient. He made sure to explain everything to me and another coursist in English, after presenting everything in Dutch first and took 1:1 time with each of us. He took interest in our personal stories and worked with us to achieve what is best and most useful for our needs. Eric was great at giving tips, providing feedback, had a super hands-on approach and was very descriptive and articulate while talking. He showed everything while telling ... He was constantly giving examples from his career or his past experiences training people. There was no judgement and mistakes were received with a warm smile and no condescending tone ... Eric was a great communicator and an even better person. He managed to create a bond with each of us for only 2x days of a course and worked on making is feel safe to make mistakes, building up our confidence and last but not liest, gifting is the skill of being able to safely and smartly use, handle and care for heavy machinery (RT, HT, EPT, etc). Thank you BLOM for being so useful and training your instructors to serve as inspiration!
