I have found this a really good course, the only thing I personally missed was a course book to follow along side it . As I struggle with spelling being dyslexic so it would have been nice to have... As I struggle with spelling being dyslexic so it would have been nice to have something to refer back to . And then you can also study it when not on line . But a great course and I would very much recommend it :)

It could have been great, but there were a lot of bugs and the focus is only on rote memorization with no feedback. Some of the content was mixed up or mistranslated. The language course is very well structured. I had a very fast progress with my Dutch beginners course. Its best to do the course by small steps and 2-3 times a week. I managed to complete one... The language course is very well structured. I had a very fast progress with my Dutch beginners course. Its best to do the course by small steps and 2-3 times a week. I managed to complete one lesson a week (the course is 10 lessons). I only had difficulty with some English translations that were not precise, but the meaning is anyway correct.

I enjoyed the subject matter of the course, as I felt it was conducive to everyday living. However, I felt that having some actual feedback from a teacher would have been great, especially for the... I enjoyed the subject matter of the course, as I felt it was conducive to everyday living. However, I felt that having some actual feedback from a teacher would have been great, especially for the writing, speaking, and listening sections. I found that especially for the listening sections, I was having to redo them often for having missed one or two words in a given sentence. This ended up with me just memorizing the dialogue, which I felt was less effective for me being able to apply the grammar concepts and to remember the vocabulary from the lesson. Overall, it was fine for me needing to get the course done quickly and on my own time, but I would say that for feedback on sentence construction and listening practice it would be a better experience in-person or with a Skype/video component. However, I know that components like this would likely make the course more expensive as well.

It is super flexible and well designed to study by yourself and move forward at a good pace. As any online course, you need self motivation to do your course as scheduled within the time frame you... It is super flexible and well designed to study by yourself and move forward at a good pace. As any online course, you need self motivation to do your course as scheduled within the time frame you have. But I like the different exercises and topics each chapter covers.
I started with the Dutch course beginner level A1 and A2. And I will continue to the next level. The fact that you get an official certificate at the end of one level is almost a big advantage as you can use it professionally.
