My experience with the van gogh museum ship was one of the best online shopping experiences i have ever had.
my purchase was small — a snow globe. in fact, the shipping cost from amsterdam to new york cost more than the snow globe itself. but it was worth it, because i collect snow globes, and this one is very cool, and the only place in the world to get it is from this one shop. i was just happy they were willing to ship it to the states.
then it arrived ... broken. i wrote to the shop, expecting i would get a refund, even though what i really wanted was the snow globe.
within hours, i received a very kind and understanding email from Rik. it said a new, very carefully-packed snow globe would be shipped to me that same day.
three days later, i got the new snow globe. i don’t even know how it was possible it got here so fast. it’s even more beautiful than it looks online. i am filling out this survey because customer service like this needs to be recognized and applauded.
