First, I was sent a very expensive luxury item in absolutely poor condition. Can happen, although I found it very strange. I agreed with the company via email (and photos) to send the item back and then receive a new one when it arrived. The company has been stalling me ever since. I've written three times since then and haven't even gotten a response to every request. In an email I was promised next day shipping, but that hasn't happened yet and it's been a week! Now I've been waiting for my new item for a total of 3 weeks and am massively losing trust in the Akkerman company. Not sending a package with a new item in stock 3 weeks AFTER receiving the defective and PAID luxury item is completely unacceptable! With every passing day I get the feeling that I'm being held up by the company and I hope that in the end it's not really a scam.
I would be happy if Akkerman gave me reason to improve this rating

Dear customer,
First of all I would like to clarify for everyone who might read this review, that the pen that we shipped out to you was still in it's original, sealed packaging from how we got it delivered by our supplier. You discovered some flaws in the material and even though it's a brand new, unused item, we indeed agreed to ship you a new one.
We do understand your frustration regarding the delay and we are honestly sorry about this - as we kindly talked about, we were extremely busy at the time of this matter and you showed complete understanding for this.
I think that we've had genuinely nice and kind conversations in which we've been very transparent in how busy we were at that moment. Therefore we were very surprised to receive your 1/10 review in which you stated that you were starting to think that you've been scammed - that's absolutely not what we do.
It has now been about 1 month since we have sent you your new pen, and I'm sure you are thoroughly enjoying writing with it.
