What do you think of the information on the Lendahand website?
In-depth and easy to find.

Me parece bastante completa, pero estaría muy bien que la página estuviese en españo
I would like to stay informed in the projects I'm investing in. Is there any such information on the webpages?
The transparency regarding defaults and your own margins is exceptional. This way I can imagine, how much the end borrower finally pays, which is very hard on other platforms and makes me wonder, if those loans are actually "social". On the other hand, I also wonder how viable your business model is; by multiplying the total amount borrowed over the last few years with your margin, turnover seems very low. Ergo I hope you're thinking about how to scale up most efficiently. For instance, you could stop offering those small 3.00% projects separately and instead make a "fund" where you put in all those projects and people can invest continuously. From what I saw on your platform so far, this would make most sense for small environmental projects and small projects benefitting women.
I think that you can be more transparent on how much rent the lender is going to pay for a particular project and how this compares to a conventional loan from the bank fro instance. So we lend out money for 6% , lendahand takes 3% and a local partner takes also 3%, then the lender will have to pay 12% rent. I think it would be fair to know as a investor what the lender is going to pay for each specific project.
For me it's clearly and enough info about the projects
I would also recommend to show the money lost by investors on lendahand to show a more balanced view.
Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately our partner SimGas Kenya had to file for bankruptcy after 10 years of good work (installing biogasdigesters at households). It is also very unfortunate that you lost that amount. We always emphasize that it is highly recommended to spread loans across different investment opportunities. Nevertheless there is always a risk of loosing money. Please notice we do share actual data about late repayments and defaults on our website: https://www.lendahand.com/en-NL/portfolio BR Peter
The information is focussed on the activities of the business which enables me to decide on whether this is the sort of activity that I would like to support. The financial information is fairly limited so I rely on LendAHand's assessment of the projects.
Charming and friendly.
Thanks for your feedback. We have tried to transfer the money 5 times to your bank account and finally succeeded in February, so no money lost. Your first bank did not accept European payments. Your second bank had very strict criteria as it comes to your first name. Fortunately it all worked out in the end. BR Peter
