I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel on the nights of 31st May and 1st June, which was meant to be a special occasion to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be extremely distressing and disappointing for my entire family. We had booked a 2-night stay, but were forced to check out after just one night due to a malfunctioning air conditioning unit in our room. Despite raising the issue with the hotel staff on the night of 31st May, no technician support was provided, and we were left to endure a sleepless night in a suffocating room. My young son was particularly uncomfortable and restless, which added to our distress. The situation escalated to the point where I had to vacate the room in a state of panic on the morning of 1st June, well before the standard checkout time of 11:00 AM. I informed the receptionist in an orderly manner and explained the situation clearly. While I did receive an apologetic email from the receptionist, the compensation offered was inadequate and dismissive, especially considering we were unable to use the hotel’s services properly and had our special occasion completely ruined. I am still awaiting a proper resolution and a fair compensation for the inconvenience, discomfort, and emotional distress caused. I request your urgent intervention in this matter and hope to hear back from you at the earliest.
