The product design is great however the wood finish faded within one year - and now we have a 1000 dollar mat that look like crap because it’s faded on the side facing the sun and pristine on the other side. Who makes an outdoor wood finished product that isn’t protected from Uv to resist fading?

I'm sorry to hear your experience with the teak wood. Teak is a very durable type of wood, that naturally fades in color over time, if untreated. This, however, does not impact the durability of the wood.
The good news is that you can get the color back by treating it with teak oil. On our website's maintenance page, we explain how this can be applied to the teak inlay (https://www.rizz.design/product-maintenance/). Simply follow the steps on there and your teak will look as good as new.
