Tried Queal after Joylent. Joylent tastes less sweet and the flavours taste more defined and natural, which makes me not get sick of it like I feel Queal might do. Also the consistency of Joylent was better, Queal has a grainy feel to it and it seems that it dissolves less well. Seeing that Joylent is also cheaper, I think I might go back to Joylent. Most important for me though is the acutal quality and healthiness of the ingredients, but it is difficult to assess that. For ensuring these concerns are met I would actually be ready to compromise on other things. Soylent for me is great because I can be in depressive moods where I cannot justify the "effort" to cook for myself (why should I cook for myself if I feel worthless kind of thing..). Not eating right exacerbates the problem further, but Soylent helps me cut the downward spiral, because even if the healthiness might be questionable it is so easy to make I still eat way better than without in such times. Hope that wasn't too personal, but I think that this a completely overlooked way in how soylent can help people to better their lives.
