We were excited to try Queal, having had some experience in creating our own Soylent based on open-source recipes but feeling that we couldn't get the flavour to be palatable. Unfortunately we didn't feel the flavours in Queal were strong enough to mask the innately unpleasant flavour of the mixture, and despite some experimentation couldn't find a consistency that we could tolerate well enough to make Queal a suitable meal replacement. The product often smelled delicious but the flavour just seemed weak.
