Glad you asked. I bought the catalogue for the current Kiefer Van Gogh show, which I received and like very much. However, being in Canada, it gets very expensive. Shipping is nearly the cost of the book. Then Canada imposes duty which is about half the cost of the book again. It becomes VERY expensive, and made me think twice about buying it. I think the museum should take the global audience into more consideration.
Improvements or suggestions
Maybe not what you want to hear, but I wish you would make your books available in North American online sellers such as Amazon and in Canada, Indigo. Much more straight-forward and faster service. Other museums do it and I wish you would too. Your next question, would I recommend the museum store? Sure, if you really want the books since they're not available elsewhere, but with a caution that any book will cost about 250% of the listed price.
