The initial discussions were good and very helpful The car was sourced and things seemed to be going well.
My understanding was the car would be delivered to my door with a full tank of fuel?....
The initial discussions were good and very helpful The car was sourced and things seemed to be going well.
My understanding was the car would be delivered to my door with a full tank of fuel?. The supplier decided he would drive the car to my house 400 klms away. The due delivery was on Friday before the long week end. I offerd to meet him half way for 2 reasons.
1. I didnot think is wwas a god idea to drive 4 hours to Whyalla and then drive 4 hours back on a long week end due to the increase of traffic on the road.
2. I did not want some one to drive my new car 400klms
3. With 400klms on the clock I had to use the car sparingly so I could return it for the 1,000 Klms service.
So basically I received a car with 400KLms on the clock and half a tank of fuel.
I was given the keys to the new car asked to sign the paper work with no explanation of the new vehicle.
I am taking it to Adelaide for its service on Friday 5 April and have arranged for someone to run through the vehicle with me.

Is there anything you would recommend to improve this company's service for next time?

I think in Hindsight(a wonderful thing) I should have sought clarification on the delivery and maybe took a flight to Adelaide to pick up my car.
The service from the ladies in the office was...

The service from the ladies in the office was excellent.
I had some issues with the trade in photos but properly should have sent more.

I FEEL THAT ALTHOUGH I WAS HAPPY WITH THE DEAL I FELT IN PRIVATE NEGOTIATIONS I COULD HAVE GOT A FEW FREEBIES E.G. FLOOR MATS BONNET PROTECTOR ETC.

Not a thing - communication was excellent. Perhaps a follow-up call after 30 days would be appreciated.

A lot of reassurance was provided. Using Private Fleet took a lot of the anxiety out of buying the car. I was very happy with the arrangement particularly to get the car to Canberra and registered...
