No strong point at all. No maintenance at all and not helpful staff as well.
I am a tourist in the Netherlands. I rented Mercedes Benz van from schiphol office on May 12, 2017. The plan is to use this rental to drive into Germany, Austria, Luxembourg etc for a road trip for 23 days. Before picking up the car, we contacted many times your office and also asked at the desk in schiphol on the green environmental sticker. Your staff always said they can not do anything and I need to arrange the sticker myself. I picked up the car at 7:00PM and at 9:00PM, the screen of the car already showed the tyre pressure is low (within 2 hours). I had to go to add air in the tank station. Considering the trip will last 23 days, we had to go back to the rental car in Schiphol to confirm the tyre has no problem and also ask for the license plate registration in order to purchase the green sticker in Germany. (obviously it only wasted of tourist time)
Your staff at Schiphol said to us that there is not problem at the tyre at all and we can just buy the green sticker with rental contract.
When we arrive at TUV offices (for green environmental sticker) none of them agree to sell the sticker to us and we had to call a lot back to the Schiphol desk and requested for the copy of registration certificate. However, none of your staff was able to help and told us this registration certificate was not existing in your database.
Within 2 days, the car showed another orange light on which we have to buy another liquid to add at the tank station. In the following day, the tyre showed low pressure again, we contacted our rental agent in China, they instructed us to go to a garage for repair. They have changed the spare tyre on for us but, it lasted only 1 hour, then it showed low tyre pressure again. Since the garage promised to us there was no problem, we went on our trip. After another week, the orange light was on again, showing it is low in engine oil. We had to search and ask people around what that means. Eventually we came back to the Netherlands with a orange light on. We also contacted the emergency line offered by Europa car, which was never helpful.
I am so sure this car is under maintenance, how can a rental car came up with 4 different problems within 3 weeks (the tyre, the engine oil, the blue fuel etc). How can a rental company expect their client to always repair their rental car! Each time, when we contact the rental car alarm line, it was never helpful. I would never rent any car from this company and I feel really disappointed since I rent a car from your office given I consider Europa car is a large trustable brand however, it is not at all!!!
We also rented a car from Enterprise before this also at Schiphol, their car was much much better and also they work with electronic confirmation emails and much more friendly helpful staff (unlike Europa with paper only and not professional staff at all, who can only tell me, I am sorry I can not do anything for you)
