My husband became ill on the 4th day of our trip. Our internet connection broke down on Monday evening and reception send a quasi-technician to our chalet. The gentleman said he was not an internet technician and couldn’t help much. He had a very bad body odour, was perspiring profusely and we believe he was suffering from COVID. My husband went to our German doctor and they confirmed that he probably had caught COVID. My husband is a pensioner and had no other contact with anyone in an enclosed room apart from myself and your technician. The technician‘s odour was so uncomfortable that I had to keep the door open until the smell subsided. We paid for our chalet for an 11-day stay. Due to my husband’s illness, we left on Friday, 13 June. I asked reception if we could have a rebate but the receptionist said no. Although your accommodation is pleasant and comfortable, it is a pity that, given our precarious circumstances, no rebate was offered.
