Really nice course. Complete and also fun.

Knowledge and experience of Katinka (also of expedition vessels and work as a guide) + that we learned to drive both RIB and zodiac.

Advice for improvement

The beach landings are now in the zodiac plus course, maybe I miss that in het normal course.

Thank you Anne Wil for your review. The RYA Level 2 course is not only about Zodiac driving. It is a complete course where you also learn about chart reading, calculating tides, bearing a course, buoyage, safety, use of kill cord, etc. That you drive a rib and a zodiac is a bonus, but for the course we need to follow the RYA guidelines. To further improve your zodiac skills we have added the Zodiac Plus course. This is a full day course based on the zodiac driving only. We do a real life MOB and we practise beach landings.

My experience with RIB School was great.

I don't know if you have many students but if it's the case, I would recommend to ask before to the students why do they want to follow this course. If it's for expedition staff on a ship, I would... I don't know if you have many students but if it's the case, I would recommend to ask before to the students why do they want to follow this course. If it's for expedition staff on a ship, I would recommend to have 2 days of zodiac courses instead of 1 day RIB and 1 day zodiac. Maybe because in my case, I would have need 2 days zodiac...

Hi Pascale, thank you for joining our training. When we plan an expedition course it is only with expedition staff and that is also our only course on the Zodiac. When you submit our form on the website we ask several questions, like what is your experience and why do you want to obtain the RYA Level 2? In your case you would have liked to have 2 days on the Zodiac. We understand it is a lot to learn 2 type of boats in 2 days, but most students prefer this as expedition vessels also often have the Zodiac MK6 which has a steering wheel. We are happy to teach you an extra day on the Zodiac if needed. Good luck with your career as a photographer. Take care, Katinka

I was a younger student (17years of age) and had an amazing time with 2 other students. Katinka the instructor for the 2 days was a great teacher who explained everything in fine detail. The course... I was a younger student (17years of age) and had an amazing time with 2 other students. Katinka the instructor for the 2 days was a great teacher who explained everything in fine detail. The course was spilt into theory and practical which was a great way to be able understand the PB 2 course structure. All the equipment provided is well maintained and had no issues. I would definitely recommend this course if you have a boating background or not as it allows you to grow, develops or build new knowledge of the skills in the maritime world. Thank you again for the amazing time!!! See you soon
