100% tv service better then my old company, not the installers.
My consultant was awesome, he had all the answers to my questions. the installer is a different story. he was really crabby, and didn't want to answer any of my questions just said i don't know. he left one of our rooms a mess and looked like he was throwing the remotes around.
Dish is more user friendly - much more willing to offer promotions!! Case in point: I had been with DirecTV for SEVENTEEN years, never missed a payment, nor was I late with any payments. (I'm not "Trump-ing" you -- it's the absolute truth with no exaggeration.) On THREE SEPARATE occasions I asked DirecTV if they would cut me a deal even for just a couple of months due to the longevity and loyalty I had shown to their company. Answers: NO. NO. NO. No effort at all made to even THINK about the word NO on all three occasions. When I learned what Dish could offer me at LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE I was currently paying for DirecTV, my decision was extremely easy to make. Dish wins, hands down. To heck with DirecTV - they need to learn a few lessons about customer appreciation.
On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best), i would rate jonah at 1,000. he was congenial- did not make me feel like a delusional old coot (reference to treatment by directv). he answered all questions very clearly - reassured me at every step of the way. dish should give lessons to every phone-connected public relations group in the whole entire world. you guys knock it out of the park.
We have not had cable for quite a while and have depended on the internet, so I have no comparison to give you. It was a cost cutting decision then because we are retired and are on a fixed income now. Not even a cost of living for three times under the prior administration! Hopefully that will be changed in the new administration.
97383 And I will not recommend DISH until I get resolution in writing~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this will at least generate a response with some help. If I get some help, I will certainly upgrade my rating of dish tv.
Helpful, and the cable was installed today. i certainly hope i am not disappointed in dish tv the very day of installation. the sales consultant said the installer would have paperwork for me to sign, and he did not! he had me sign something on this phone and said i will get an email. i have not yet gotten that. however, i saw on line but i want to print out the 50+ channels in the flex pac, but it would not let me print them. where can i get that list? i could not even copy and paste, but it would be nice if it also showed the channel numbers. maybe that was on the paper my husband gave back to the installer. also, the paperwork on the installer's phone did not match the paperwork i got from the salesperson. i wan a correction of those two papers when i get my email which i certainly hope i will get at least by tomorrow. i that chanel listing is available in printed form, can somebody please mail or email it to me. firstname.lastname@example.org.
See above note
0000 she took $150. out of my account without my approval and after i said i thought i would go back to my old service as dish was charging the same for less product. anyway, i still don't have the $150. back in my account and i have been fairly pissed about it since it happened on march 2nd.
I think you are very dishonest and crooks I'm a senior and I will pass the word at the senior center and to anyone I know.i still don't know if you have cancelled my account withwho ever has it. dish , frontier . or sling . I know sling is the co. that took the money out of my account.

He was dishonest and transferred me many times to diferent companys that ripped me off f or $50. i called dish they trasfered me to frontier and they transferred me to sling and they took 50.00 out of my bank account for merchandise i never ask for and that didn't work . ill never do business with any of these companies again. i ask for dish and ended up with roku that wouldn't work with the internet service that frontier supplied me with . the phone also didn't work . and everytime i tried to call any of these companies i get diconected.
Attitude does not compare
The sales person we spoke to was very pushy. she insisted that we give her a credit card number so she could check our credit so as she put it dish would know how much to charge us. we called to simply get cost of dish packages so we could determine if it would be to our advantage to change services or not. she actually placed an order in our name. she said she would be calling us back which she did not when we found out she had actually placed an order without our permission we decided would not consider doing business with dish!.
When Spectrum was still Charter, we were very pleased with their interaction and their service. There seems to have been a very big change in their customer care and "service" is not important. We anticipate a much different relationship with Dish.
