I would have expected pages printed upside down to be spotted by the company rather than sending it out. When I complained and asked for a screen proof they said this would not be possible . I have been designing and working with printers for over 20 years and this is the first time I have been told a screen proof is not possible. The man Renee on the phone was rude and impatient , talking over me, not helpful at all and actually quite upsetting, constantly trying to shift the blame back to myself when I told him the problems I was experiencing. I was very worried and felt I had no control over what was being produced and that they would not help. I repeatedly stated I would need delivery BEFORE 7th October for an event (even with over 10 days notice), I had no print or delivery updates throughout the process as is usual with print companies and when I emailed to check we were on schedule for delivery it was not answered. It arrived on October 8th a day late and printed correctly. All in all, a terrible and worrying printing experience and one that damaged my reputation with my client.

Lack of accurate information was an issue. Was not informed that the stated delivery date would not be met which left us launching an event, with no books!

Keep customers informed. There is not point having a tracking system if its not accurate. Best to scrap it.

I found copyshop to be very slow to respond - I had to contact them to chase things up rather than them contacting me. They didn't communicate well about an order and then delivered it the day after... They didn't communicate well about an order and then delivered it the day after I needed it. The documents were for a training course and it was very inconvenient that the students did have their course materials. Copyshop didn't apologise for sending them late. When I asked for the documents to be delivered to a different address, they said it would take more than a week and suggested that I should arrange it! I was simply staggered at how obstructive they were. The person I spoke to on the phone always sounded very grumpy.

Strengths

For recycled paper printing, the price is very reasonable.

I think the customer services employee needs to be replaced because he has zero understanding of what this means.

I was looking for printing onto recycled paper that was reasonably priced. I found the website very easy to use.

We often order our training materials with CopyShop and are always happy with the service we receive from them. Reasonable prices, quality products and great customer service, what more do you want?

Overall a very positive experience with some delay in communication

Ok not good.
Ordered on the 13th - online dashboard showed delivery for the 15th. As of today, 21st, I still haven't received the order and I'm not sure when I will.

15th (am) - not heard anything so sent an email- no response
15th (pm) Sent another email - no response
17th Called and spoke to Rene who assured me the order would be despatched by Friday
17th Received reply to the email I sent on the 15th from Rene - Plan to ship on the 17th but Monday 20th at the latest
20th pm Didn't receive a tracking email - Sent an email to Rene
21st Not heard anything - sent another email

(The online dashboard which shows my order progress hasn't hasn't been updated - order still shows delivery on the 15th)

My only quibble would be with the packaging. The internal boxes split in transit, but that may have been the carrier and may also have been that the non-standard sized books couldn't understandably... It took me a while to find you because I suppose there are a large number of printers - or print farmers - offering almost identical sites to attract customers. I wonder if the word 'copy' suggests... I wonder if the word 'copy' suggests photocopying rather than printing? I ended up looking for printers in areas that I visit. When I tried Worcestershire, you appeared high on the list.
