We went to the museum on our way to Africa and didn’t want to carry any purchase items with us so we learned about the online shop at the museum. We scouted our the items we wanted in the shop and took photos. Upon arrival back hone in US we went to website provided to us and filled our cart with the items we wanted plus a few more. It was very easy to browse and save to cart. We ordered the items on Sunday night and they arrived late afternoon on Wednesday. The entire experience was amazing. I wish all online was this easy. At the same time I ordered from the Rijksmuseum and four days later received notice they were packing the items and that some were unavailable. I had already had my items from Van Gogh Museum by then.
I also like that I am able to log in and keep my account and my shopping cart intact for when I return. I do wish it would save my previous purchases so I could see what I have bought.
Improvements or suggestions
I wish the app had a link to the shop.
There are two ways to get to a subtopic of items for sale.
One is from Menu. From here if you go to Kids it takes you to a page with some suggested items. It is difficult from her to find all the items in the kids section.
The second is from Webshop Categories. From here if you select kids it gives you three subtopics that seem to have a more complete list of items. I feel that both locations should take you through this browsing experience. It allows for more thorough shopping for items.
I wish My Account would save the previous orders so I could see what I have bought.
