I am from Wisconsin, USA and I recently purchased a Swiss Army Champ XL pocket knife from XL Outdoors. I was little hesitant about purchasing this from overseas whose website is in another language. They had listed it at a great price and had good reviews. I expected shipping would take longer than normal, but I figured I would give it a try.
The order was placed 12/25/16 (Christmas Day) and the order was received in 3 days from Denmark with UPS expedited shipping for a couple extra bucks. It all came with the original packaging and instructions. I was very happy. It turned out with further inspection a small component (pin) was missing with the knife as listed on the packaging and descriptions.
I was little worried with no way of calling a foreign country or contacting customer service. There was an email listed, and figured it was my only shot of remedying the problem. XL responded within 5 hours of my email and found the missing part and shipped it immediately. I received the missing (pin) a few days later.
I was very satisfied with the cost, shipping, and customer service when I had initial doubts using an international retailer from overseas.
